Wine label developed for the Verdejo D.O. Rueda of La Cuadrada. The main characteristic of this wine is its close relationship with the quarry of the same name. The white clay extracted from this quarry made it possible to clarify the wines and make them age in barrels for between four and ten years.

For the design of the label we were inspired by the stonemason’s brands. Like Rueda wine, stonemason’s brands have a long history. During the investigation it was discovered that important buildings in the area such as the church of Los Santos Juanes (Nava del Rey, XVI century), are built with ashlars from La Cuadrada in which you can still identify the original stonemason’s brands. The stonecutters leave their mark on the ashlars using this system. From this research, a visual imaginary was created to represent the centenary bond that wine has with its most identifying characteristic: the quarry.
