LOS SUEÑOS
DE LAS NOCHES ELÉCTRICAS
by Clara Gámiz

Editorial and exhibition design

Los Sueños de las Noches Eléctricas (Dreams of the Electric Nights) is a photographic exhibition by Clara Gámiz that explores the expectations, joy, and uncertainty of a generation that came of age in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Alongside her photographs, Clara presents personal reflections and texts written during the period in which the images were taken. Together, they form a kind of postcard, a portrait of a generation raised amid promises, uncertainty, and crisis. The exhibition was presented at Sala Ático in Granada.

The graphic design and visual identity were conceived to frame and support the photographs and texts without overshadowing them. Typographic compositions visually interpret the meaning of the words, while a fluorescent color palette evokes both the electric and the nocturnal. The modified typeface draws inspiration from countercultural graphic movements of the late 1990s and early 2000s, influenced by the experimental spirit of designers like David Carson.
